· Is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization founded by the Rotary Club of Concord in 1985 which can accept tax-deductible donations, which are used to create a fund whose principal cannot be touched.

· Distributes interest earned on the corpus to eligible charitable, scientific and educational purposes in the Concord Rotary service area as directed by the Concord Board of Directors.

Why an Endowment?

· The Concord Rotary Endowment provides a permanent fund, which will continue to grow with additional contributions into the future.
· The Endowment's Board of Trustees invests funds conservatively.
· The Board of Trustees assures that funds are distributed to scientific, charitable and educational causes to maintain the tax-deductible status of the Endowment.
· The Endowment offers one more avenue for Concord Rotarians to pursue "Service Above Self" for our community.

Who is the Endowment?

· Every member of the Rotary Club of Concord is also a member of the Concord Rotary Endowment and is eligible to serve as a Trustee of the Fund. The Board of Trustees is elected the members of the Rotary Club of Concord.

How does the Concord Rotary Endowment Serve our Community?

· As the Endowment Fund continues to grow through your contributions, it produces income for distribution to designated charitable institutions in our community. The Fund supports the Rotary Club of Concod's Community Service Program.

How can I contribute to the Concord Rotary Endowment?

· The hope and intent of the Endowment Fund is to provide Rotary Club Members an opportunity to participate annually, either with gifts or pledges, or with time and talent contributed to the annual fund raising event.
· Gifts are fully tax-deductible.
· Funds are controlled locally by elected Endowment Trustees.
· There is an opportunity to give through Living Trusts and Estate Bequests.

How does one become a member of Concord Rotary Club?

Membership is by invitation and candidates are selected to represent a wide range of business and professions. The classification principle insures that the total membership is comprised of a cross section of the community, resulting in an interesting and stimulating group.
